Myanmar (CNN) The Myanmar government has issued a call for phone bills in the country to help cover its rising costs.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said on its official website Monday that it is in the process of issuing phone bills for the first time in the Middle Kingdom.
The ministry says the phone bills will be issued at the end of the month.
There have been numerous instances of poor quality phone bills, with some phone companies refusing to issue the bills, said a spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.
“We will try our best to address these issues,” the spokesperson added.
This comes after the Myanmar government issued a number of call for telephone bills in recent months, but was forced to cancel them in October due to lack of money.
