If you’re in the market for a new phone bill, you’ll likely be wondering if you should pay your phone bill with cash, a debit card or some other method.
The federal government says you can pay your cellphone bill with debit card, credit card or PayPal.
But you may have to pay a $2 fee to get it done, and you’ll have to show a credit card to get your bill processed.

The account must be open by the time you can get your phone number and contact information.
Be sure to include your name, address and contact details, and give your name as your primary email address.
You may also need to provide your phone company to verify the information.
Make sure you’ve checked your billing statements regularly to make sure you have enough funds to cover your bill.
Make certain your card is active, and if you haven’t, call your credit card company and request a refund or a credit line.
