The average phone cost of a Duke billing phone is $1,716, and for a land phone bill it is $2,972, according to a survey from research firm PwC.
The average for Duke’s residential phones is $5,084.
PwC also found that the average for residential and business phones is nearly the same at $4,788, while business phones cost more at $6,945.
Duke customers are also paying a higher price for their phones than other consumers.
For Duke’s home and business customers, the average cost is $3,908, while for Duke students the average is $7,984.
For non-Duke users, the costs are closer to $3.19 and $4.21, respectively.
The average phone costs are still cheaper than the cost of an average smartphone.
Pew’s survey also found consumers who pay for their own phones pay more for the same phone, while customers who pay with an AT&T prepaid plan pay an average of $1.11 more than average users.For more:
