In a move that would shock the world of tech, the world’s biggest carrier is going to charge you to use its phone network.
The carrier is charging for the first time for data that comes over its network in the United States.
While it’s only charging for up to 5GB of data per month, AT&T is asking for as much as 3GB of that data per line for its customers.
The new policy is in response to the growing data caps in the U.S., which has become increasingly burdensome. AT&
